In 1874 249 Folie were born in the stables of Josef Folie and his wife Anna Fritz. Today all purebred Haflinger horses descend from him.
The Venosta Valley has a long tradition of horse breeding. The new documentary exhibition in the Venosta Valley Museum tells the story of Folie and his descendants in the Venosta Valley.
